• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
• Develop positive relationships with our internal team, clients, underwriters and carriers.
• Partner with commercial sales team to customize insurance programs to suit business clients and cover a variety of risks.
• Examine documents to determine the degree of risk factors and properly place those with excessive risks.
• Foster strong relationships with our clients to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.

Requirements

• Currently possess a Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Proven industry experience with a focus on underwriting and account management
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a focus on business and or marketing.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
