SUMMARY
We are looking for Experienced Rollback Drivers / Operators with their own Rollback / Tow Trucks who would like to be added to our database of people that would like to work with us on Temporary Power Missions following Storms and Natural Disasters.
We typically work with FEMA and the US Army Corps of Engineers and would work 12 hours a day, 7 days week. These missions can be anywhere in the US and sometimes the offshore territories and can last for a week or up to 12 months depending on the location and the damage done.
Average is around 3 weeks, but often as one mission ends another begins. Especially during what is forecast to be a very busy Hurricane season.
When on a mission we pay for Hotel and Per Diem if working more than 75 miles from home, and we are prepared to pay a significant daily rate for your vehicle (up to $700).
Safety gear including Steel Toe boots, gloves, hard hat, goggles and high visibility vest are also required. You will be transporting generators from the base to locations for installation by other team members.
You will also need to pass a security clearance as we are often working of military bases.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in loading and unloading vehicles as well as towing is required. In this case you will be loading / unloading and towing Generators to designated sites, retrieving broken ones, and at the end of the mission returning the units to base.
It is a preferred that you have a valid CDL license.
CERTIFICATIONS
Before any deployment can take place a candidate must have the following certifications in place :
ABC of Temporary Power (Free and takes 2 hours)
First Aid / CPR (Online course costs about $50)
Completed an Anti-Terrorist Course (Free and takes 2 hours)
