Self-Direct, Inc. is Hiring a Human Resource Assistant Near Baldwinsville, NY

Self-Direct, Inc. provides high quality care to individuals in NYS who are at risk of nursing home placement, or who need extra care at home or in the community. Our goal is to help clients maintain their independence and live a safe and healthy lifestyle. Self-Direct provides a variety of services such as in-home personal care, a social adult day program, medical alert services, and more.

We are looking to add a human resource generalist to our team!

Responsibilities:

· Administer compensation and benefit plans

· Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes

· Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives

· Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise

· Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace

· Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies

· Undertake tasks around performance management

· Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates

· Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews

· Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Associates degree or experience in human resources--1 year (Required)

· Attention to detail, excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.

· Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite

· Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
