Job Description:
Position- Certified Surgical Tech
Facility-St Vincent's Medical Center
Location- 2800 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT
Shift- 5x8 & 4x10//D & N
Duration- 13 weeks
Pay- $2400 weekly gross for travellers
$58 for locals
Role Description
This is a contract role for a Certified Surgical Technologist located in Bridgeport, CT. The Certified Surgical Technologist will be responsible for assisting in the operating room during surgical procedures, providing support to surgeons and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring the proper handling of surgical equipment. This is an on-site role.
Required Experience & Certification-
Candidate must have minimum 2 years of certified surgical tech experience.
Candidate must have an active NBSTSA, BLS, COVID & DRIVER's LICENSE
Qualifications
- Surgical Technology, Surgical Assisting, and Operating Room skills
- Experience in medicine, surgery, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle surgical instruments accurately
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist
- Prior experience in a surgical setting is preferred
- Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or a related field is a plus
