Job Title: Sanitation ManagerLocation: Baltimore MD (Fells Point)Pay Range: 70k - 90kOnsite - Permanent position - Day ShiftWhat’s the Job?
- Sanitation Manager is legally obligated and responsible to ensure that they are following all Food Safety Guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Process Procedures to ensure a safe, quality product for our customers
- Directs and manages general sanitation activities of the plant.
- Plans and manages a master sanitation schedule in accordance with governmental, company and customer standards.
- Adheres to food safety standards developed by our Bakery
- Maintains safe working environment for all employees/contractors
- 3 or more years of experience working in plant/manufacturing sanitation. (Demonstrate knowledge of pest control and other requirements).
- High School diploma or equivalent, or a combination of experience & technical training. Completion of formal management skills training progran1 to include certification as required is preferred. (i.e. MD, AIB, etc.).
- Must have a general knowledge of how production machinery works.
- Must be physically capable of moving to all areas of the plant; including reaching, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing, and pulling as required in a production operation; lifting or maneuvering up to 60 pounds.
- Must be able to generate written and verbal communications clearly and distinctly
- Baking Industry experience a big plus!
