Maintenance Technician

Up to $35/ hour differential $2/hour for journeyman

2nd 3rd shift

I’m working with a Global Tier 1 supplier for manufacturing propulsion-agnostic, structural automotive components, and assemblies. They’re looking to expand their 3rd shift maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring and conduit for newly installed equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Conduct tests on malfunctioning machinery; collaborate with other departments to diagnose malfunctions.
• Identify and replace faulty electrical components of machines, such as relays, switches, and motors, as well as position sensing devices.
• Disassemble machines to access problem areas.
• Inspect parts to identify wear or misalignment issues: Remove and replace worn or broken parts.
• Participate in Tool Purchase Program.

Requirements

· At least 5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience.

· Journeyman card preferred - $2.00 per hour additional for Journeyman

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Experience working on large metal stamping presses (200-3000 ton)

· Basic knowledge of PLC – ability to troubleshoot & make minor changes.

· Proficiency with Microsoft office & CMMS

Experience:

• PLC: 4 years (Preferred)
• Manufacturing: 6 years (Preferred)
