Meat Market Manager :
The Meat Market Manager ensures that fresh and prepackaged market cases are maintained full and fresh. Works closely with market personnel on daily operations and promotes customer service.
Strong meat cutting skills and product knowledge.
Use hand tools efficiently with proper knife skills.
Order merchandise to maintain freshness and stock levels.
Product merchandising.
Utilizing daily sales data to reduce shrink by proper production output.
Use detailed reports on sales, profits, and trends to make purchasing decisions.
Train and develop department employees.
Adhere to all state, local and company policies and regulations on health and safety.
Work with leadership to execute and promote company directives and promotions / campaigns.
Meat Market Manager Background Profile :
High school Diploma or GED and three or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and / or higher education required.
Food Safety Management certification required.
Able to pass criminal background check and drug screen.
Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
