Position Summary

KTR Group Inc. is looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join our team. The role of this individual is to manage and oversee basic bookkeeping responsibilities utilizing QuickBooks Online, and to provide other support (incl. reporting and analytics) to the functional areas of the company (Sales, Operations and Financial & Administration) as needed. Only candidates with recent QuickBooks Online experience should apply for this job. This is a Monday through Friday (5 days in the office) position with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks using standard bookkeeping methods (incl. coding/posting and completing timely month-end closings)
  • Perform customer invoicing and recording of company expenses in QuickBooks
  • Generate weekly Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable agings/analysis, as well as basic cash flow reporting
  • Produce financial reporting for management review (incl. P&Ls, sales reports, inventory reports, etc.)
  • Assist with various data reporting and analytics (incl. customer and product sales trends)
  • Provide meaningful contribution to improving existing bookkeeping processes

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience (3 plus years) as a bookkeeper or similar role
  • Must be proficient in, and have recent experience with, QuickBooks including customer account maintenance, invoicing, accounts payable and report generation & review (e.g. balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow, agings)
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel) and Google Sheets
  • Must have working knowledge of accounting principles/practices, including understanding of debits, credits and general ledger accounts
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, recordkeeping and management reporting
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
