We are hiring a Customer Service Account Manager at our location in Allegan, MI. This individual will receive and process customer orders, inquiries, and/or complaints covering items or products ordered, and supports customers through specialized technical or scientific knowledge/product applications.

Note: This position is eligible for a hybrid workplace arrangement with three days (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday) on-site in the Allegan, Michigan office.

Job duties:

• Records and processes orders and/or inquiries received by mail email and personal customer contact.
• Provides product updates, availability, and schedule information to both internal and external customers.
• Researches and obtains resolution of a variety of customer complaints and issues.
• Serves as link between customers and sales staff to assure responsiveness.
• Works with customers and Demand Planning to help determine forecast changes and market events
• Tracks order activity and alerts appropriate staff of any potential delivery problems.
• Independently manages small tier accounts and utilizes customer systems to gather information or data to support the business
• Manages short-dated inventory and works with customers to minimize obsolescence
• Works within customer systems (Retail Link, Certio, McKesson CAR and MAP portals)
• Facilitates and/or attends meetings with customers and value streams as needed
• Reviews and reports customer service numbers

Required qualifications:

• College or university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Five or more (5 ) years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred qualifications:

• SAP experience
