Avesta Systems is Hiring a Director of Nursing (RN/LPN) Near Akron, OH

Position Overview: A 30-35 bed assisted living facility is now recruiting candidates for a full-time Director of Nursing (RN/LPN) to join our management team.

We're looking for experienced nursing candidates that are compassionate, energetic, and dedicated to the highest standards of care. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-driven, results-oriented healthcare professional to join the management team of a dynamic organization committed to customer service and care.

The Director of Nursing is responsible for the coordination of care for all residents as well as overseeing the nursing department. She or he will be familiar with the rules and regulations required by CMS and the state of NH and ensure that all nursing staff are in compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire, train, retain all nursing staff
  • Plan, coordinate, and maintain nursing department
  • Conduct annual evaluations for licensed nurses and nursing assistants
  • Complete resident assessments and care plans in accordance with NH State Rules & Regulations
  • Evaluate and assess potential residents
  • Maintain all resident medical records
  • Maintain a deficiency-free status with the state of NH
  • Attend department head meetings
  • Perform Employee pre-employment physical evaluations, as needed

Minimum Requirements:

  • RN/LPN Licensed in State of New Hampshire
  • 2 years of experience in an assisted living facility
