We are seeking Low-Voltage Apprentice Electrical Installers for office buildings in Washington, DC. The schedule would be after working hours Monday through Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. The successful candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and proficient in all aspects of low-voltage electrical installation.
Primary Responsibilities
Read and understand construction plans, documents, and project specifications to determine the sequence and methods of installing and assembling conduit, wiring, and other devices to complete projects
Ensure high quality of work and adherence to schedule
Keep work area, vehicle, and tools clean and organized
Communicate with customers and document work done
Work well with customers, co-workers, and subcontractors
Removal and replacement of electrical fixtures
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of verifiable electrical work experience
Able to work within teams directed by project manager
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work unsupervised
Clean, safe driving record
