**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced sales rep to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inbound and outbound catering sales, booking events, working with our kitchen to ensure catering orders are ready and delivered on time, going onsite for our large catering customers to help set up, and providing exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
Your outbound sales efforts will consist of cold outreach on social media and by phone, as well as taking samples of our food to businesses to help drive sales.
**Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate with clients to understand their catering needs and preferences
- Plan menus and create detailed proposals for events
- Oversee food preperation and delivery at events
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
**Experience:**
- Proven experience as a Caterer or similar role in the hospitality industry
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
**Skills:**
- CRM knowledge for managing client relationships
- Technical sales expertise to promote catering services effectively
- Outside sales experience to attract new clients
- Analytical skills to assess market trends and customer preferences
- Proficiency in technology sales to leverage digital platforms for marketing
- Sales acumen for upselling services and negotiating contracts
- Account management capabilities to maintain client accounts effectively
- Negotiation skills for securing favorable deals with vendors and clients
- Business development aptitude to expand the catering business
- Market awareness to identify opportunities for growth
