Our client, a leading product manufacturing company based in North Houston, is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Representative specializing in Territory Management with 4-8 years of experience in business-to-business sales. This role is tailored for a sales hunter, someone who is adept at identifying, pursuing, and capturing new sales opportunities within designated territories and expanding our business reach.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting: Actively identify potential clients within the territory. Utilize innovative strategies to generate new leads and build a strong sales pipeline.
2. Client Relationship Management: Forge and maintain robust relationships with business clients within the territory. Understand their unique needs and offer customized solutions that align with our product offerings.
3. Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales team to create effective, territory-specific sales strategies targeting key markets and customer segments.
4. Territory Management: Develop and execute a strategic plan to manage and grow sales within a designated territory. Regularly analyze territorial market trends and customer needs to optimize sales strategies.
5. Product Knowledge: Acquire comprehensive knowledge of our product range to effectively communicate benefits and features to potential clients.
6. Negotiation and Closing: Employ skillful negotiation tactics to finalize contracts and close deals, ensuring profitable and mutually beneficial outcomes.
7. Market Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback within the territory to identify new sales opportunities and potential areas of expansion.
8. Sales Targets and Reporting: Achieve and surpass set sales targets within the territory. Provide detailed feedback and regular reports on customer interactions, sales progress, and market conditions.
Qualifications:
· Proven success in business to business sales and territory management with 4-8 years of experience.
· Strong hunter mentality, adept at identifying, pursuing, and capturing new sales opportunities.
· Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
· Familiarity with the manufacturing sector is advantageous.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
