CRDF Global is seeking candidates for its 2024 Summer Internship Program in support of our Development Division. The internship will be in our Arlington, Virginia office and will begin on June 3rd and end on August 30, 2024. We work in a hybrid environment that provides employees with a weekly mix of in-office and remote work.

The intern will support project implementation, evaluation, and research within the Development team. This involves work in food security, economic development, and opportunities within USAID’s portfolio and key government agencies.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who can work both independently and as part of the team to assist with the development and coordination of international projects and who enjoys working in a challenging environment.

 Major Responsibilities:

• Administrative project support
• Research for projects and business development on a variety of topics
• Drafting and editing project deliverables
• Support for creation of stakeholder communication content
• Gathering and organizing data for monitoring and evaluation efforts, including developing a project schedule and start up task tracker.
• Assist with organizing program and event logistics, as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in related field
• Interest in international security and/or development issues
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
• Ability to work at least 20 hours per week with a maximum of 28 hours per week
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship required

CRDF Global pays interns at a rate of $17.50 per hour.
