AIR & ENR2 Events Coordinator Posting Number req19574 Department AZ Inst for Resilience Department Website Link Location Main Campus Address Tucson, AZ USA Position Highlights Arizona Institute for Resilience (AIR) is seeking applicants for an AIR & ENR2 Events Coordinator (Administrative Support Assistant III).
This motivated, detail-oriented position will work with program staff to provide logistical event support to the 15 programs and centers within AIR (located in the Environment and Natural Resources 2 building, certified Leed Platinum), and coordinate and convene campus-wide events hosted by AIR.
This position will also serve as the ENR2 Ambassador through the oversight of AIR's 11 publicly available event spaces located in the building, which includes managing the room reservation system, assisting the building manager in scheduling building access, showing space to potential users, and coordinating with various campus departments including Facilities Management, Real Estate, Risk Management, and Classroom Technology Services (CTS) to ensure university policies and event needs are simultaneously met.
The Ambassador also serves as one of the primary contacts for questions about the ENR2 building and conducts tours. As a key member of the AIR Operations Team, the position will also provide administrative support to AIR as needed and manage one student employee.
This is a full-time position located in AIR’s ENR2 offices.
