- Planning, organizing, preparing, and serving meals and refreshments
- Collaborating with consulting dietitian
- Planning and organizing events
- Coordinating with Engagement Director and Executive Director
- Plan, organize, prepare, and serve meals and refreshments for residents
- Collaborate with consulting dietitian to ensure meals meet dietary requirements and preferences
- Plan and organize events, such as holiday parties and special occasions
- Coordinate with Engagement Director and Executive Director to ensure events are successful
- Manage kitchen staff and ensure they are trained and following proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and incorporate them into menu planning
- Ensure kitchen and dining areas are clean and well-maintained
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations
