Job description

Standard Cable, a leading manufacturer of power cords and electrical products is seeking an Account Manager/Technical Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Management of customer accounts to include Building the relationship, understanding the customer requirements, proactively tracking customer orders to ensure on time delivery and maintain account profiled for each assigned account.
  • Perform daily maintenance of special customer programs.
  • Work with comprehensive computer system to ensure correct costs and pricing to customers and to present cost proposals.
  • Ongoing review and maintenance of lead times and stock levels.
  • Daily interaction with production areas; scheduling customer orders, prioritizing needs following up on and communicating customer quality concerns.
  • Works well in a team environment, backing up and covering for one another.
  • Visits customers as required (Not Frequent)

Skills

Equivalent work experience.

  • 1-3 years of production or account experience a plus.
  • 2–4-year degree – Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical (preferred, but not required)
  • Strong customer service, communications and organizational skills.
  • Manufacturing or similar industries experience a plus.
  • Project management experience a plus.
  • Microsoft Office skills (word, Excel and Outlook) is required.
