Comtec IT Services is Hiring a Forklift Operator Near Roy, UT
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of forklifts and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate forklifts including cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and order pickers
- Handle materials with care and precision to prevent damage
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate inventory counts
- Assist with warehouse management tasks as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to operate heavy equipment with precision and attention to detail
- Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on forklifts
- Experience with order picking, materials handling, and inventory management
- Knowledge of safety protocols for working in a warehouse environment
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience operating clamp trucks
- Proficiency in using cherry pickers for elevated work
- Previous exposure to warehouse management systems
- Capability to load and unload heavy items safely
