Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting, color theory, and a variety of related skills to produce high-quality finishes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting such as drywall, plaster, and masonry
- Apply paint or other finishes using hand tools and equipment
- Perform trim carpentry work as needed
- Understand and implement color theory to achieve desired results
- Restore and maintain various surfaces through painting techniques
- Work on projects involving welding and basic math skills
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently
Experience:
- Proven experience in construction painting and related tasks
- Proficiency in using hand tools for painting and finishing work
- Knowledge of drywall repair and plastering techniques
- Familiarity with masonry work for surface preparation
- Ability to work with various materials to achieve desired finishes
- Understanding of color theory principles for effective color matching
