Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, tax, and financial concepts. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in revenue accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage revenue recognition processes in compliance with SOX regulations
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations related to revenue accounts
- Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on revenue-related projects
- Assist in payroll processing and related accounting tasks
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero for financial transactions
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and forecasting
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Strong understanding of debits and credits in accounting
- Knowledge of corporate finance principles
- Experience with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance
- Proficiency in tax laws and regulations
- Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliations accurately
- Familiarity with financial forecasting concepts
- Experience with payroll processes is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
