Executive Assistant

Deadline: Friday May 24, 2024

General Summary:
Support the efforts of the President/CEO, the administrative department, and committee work.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for scheduling individual and group meetings (including meetings with staff, elected officials, members, prospects, and others) as directed by the president.
  • Request and assemble any materials needed for president’s meetings including documentation in WebLink database.
  • Assist on projects as requested.
  • Develop relationships with executive assistants of Chamber Board members and other leaders in the region providing access for communication regarding scheduling and other issues for Chamber president.
  • Coordinate special events, receptions and committee meetings as needed.
  • Coordinate meetings of Chamber Board of Trustees, Executive Committee, Finance Committee, Chamber Foundation, Nominating Committee,R.E.D.Roundtable, and orientation meeting for new board members.
  • Responsible for scheduling, meeting reminders, logistics, attendance, minutes and materials for Chamber Board of Trustees, and Executive Committee, and other committee meetings.
  • Responsible for securing confidentiality agreements from all Chamber Board members.
  • Coordinate with all departments to compile the monthly DAR report for the Chamber Board of Trustees.
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Staff reception desk as needed.
  • Provide administrative support for the President of the RGP as needed.

Job Specifications:
  • Associate degree in business related field preferred but not required
  • Excellent computer skills including expert knowledge of Window Office.
  • Ability to manage and work well with others
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and think independently
  • Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong customer orientation
