Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant must have good communication, computer, and organizational skills. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be great with students, parents, teachers, and guests and be able to field questions by phone and email. Required to learn school/parent portal, maintain accurate student records, and maintain safety surveillance.

Type of Position: This is a contracted, exempt employee that is paid on a salaried basis.
Required Spiritual Qualities
It is expected that the Administrative Assistant will:
● Acknowledge Christ as Savior and seek to live as His disciple.
● Believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God, our standard for faith and practice.
● Believe and actively support the school’s Statement of Faith (attached).
● Demonstrate a desire for spiritual growth as evidenced by his/her prayer life, Bible study,
and spiritual outreach to others.
● Be a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions toward others. This includes being committed to God’s biblical standards for sexual conduct. (Luke 6:40).
● Evidence of the fruit of the Spirit in dealing with people.
● Actively participate in a local Bible-believing church and share faith with others.
● Have a Christ-centered home.
Required Professional Qualities
It is expected that the Administrative Assistant will:
Possess a AAS or Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum two years or experience working in an office environment
Familiarity with Google/Google Calendar and Microsoft Word

It is expected that the Administrative Assistant will:

Administrative Leadership
Assist staff, students, and volunteers to function efficiently, effectively, and productively.
Seek to accomplish the goals and objectives assigned by school administration and school policy.
Additional Duties or Responsibilities
Manage student attendance.
Schedule and monitor required fire and emergency drills.
Find substitutes to fill in for absent teachers.
Communicate with district transportation departments.
Handle daily dismissal of students.
Prepare teacher orientation information.
Support special school events.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the administration.
