Opportunity

The Inventory & Capacity Planning Agent plays a crucial role in our Supply Chain team, responsible for overseeing order entry, capacity/volume planning, inventory control, and coordinating with third- party warehouse vendors. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain management, as well as proficiency in Tier I ERP programs such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Order Entry: Manage order entry process, ensuring accuracy, coordinating and planning for capacity and timeliness of orders.
• Capacity/Volume Planning: Develop, plan, negotiate and execute, in coordination with third- party vendors, strategies to optimize production efficiency and meet customer demand.
• Inventory Control: Oversee procedures, including cycle counting, inventory adjustments and reconciliation, stock level maintenance and physical inventory in coordination with other departments and vendors.
• Warehouse Operations: Coordinate closely with third-party warehouse vendors to ensure warehousing capacity and fluctuations based on inbound and outbound inventory, coordinating with additional warehouses as needed.
• Data Analysis: Track, analyze, and report relevant metrics related to inventory management and capacity planning. Using existing and creating new tools to improve processes for faster and automated analysis.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline inventory and warehousing logistics and enhance efficiency. Document procedures and best practices to promote standardization and scalability.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field required; master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehousing, manufacturing, supply chain, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Tier I ERP programs such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP (NetSuite preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
