Job Summary

ImageWorks Display is seeking a scheduler who will monitor daily incoming orders against production schedules; work with the purchasing team and make necessary schedule changes due to inventory levels and supply chain issues to fulfill customer demands. The person in this position is also responsible for working with Freight carriers and negotiating freight rates and coordinating the efforts of internal and external resources to deliver programs timely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Review daily incoming orders and schedules to ensure accurate lead-times are provided to customers and sales teams.
• Serve as a liaison between the sales, purchasing and production teams to provide lead-times.
• Assist purchasing team on verification of material deliveries required to meet scheduled customer deliveries.
• Provide schedule updates to teams based on unexpected delays.
• Review prior day shipping reports to ensure orders were successfully picked up, send customers daily shipping confirmations, and confirm shipments are delivered by carriers, and received by customers.
• Approve freight charges from freight carriers.
• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules and reports.
• Work with freight carriers on daily shipping requirements, scheduling trucks and communications with customers and assist customers with freight claims.
• Work as the liaison between IWD Fixture group and Freight carriers to develop relationships and work through the shipping processes.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Intermediate proficiency level with computer programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Proven ability to interpret reports; comprehend and navigate various computer programs common to ImageWorks 
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of materials and manufacturing processes common to the Point of Purchase Industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills; verbal and written communications.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests with minimal supervision.

Experience/Education Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in related field (Supply Chain, Inventory Management or Production).
• Exceptional equivalent may be considered in lieu of degree.
