Certified Medical Assistant
Hendricks Therapy is expanding to meet the growing mental health needs in our community. Our exceptional and talented people are the key to our success. We are looking for compassionate, driven, detail-oriented team members to assist us in our mission to increase accessibility to mental health care in central Indiana.
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for our mental health practice. This individual will work directly with our physicians and medical team in a positive and caring environment.

Job description includes:
· Possess excellent patient service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients of all ages.
· Provide medical administrative support including welcoming patients, answering and returning phone call messages, check-in, scanning, collections, scheduling, and fax retrieval.
· Prepare and administer in-office testing.
· Take and record vital signs, such as Height, Weight, blood pressure, and pulse.
· Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing.
· Administer injections as directed by healthcare providers.
· Monitor patient text messages (overtime opportunities available for after-hours texting) and communicate patient messages effectively to providers.
· Communicate patient messages effectively to providers.
· Other clinical duties.
Professional Qualifications:
CMA Certification is required to apply. If you have higher education in Medical Assisting, Health Information Technology, Business, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field, that is certainly is a plus! Previous medical office experience of at least one year is required. Strong typing ability and proficiency with Microsoft Office are necessary skills to have for this position.
Pay & Benefits:
· Job Type: Full-Time – Hourly. Opportunities for overtime available.
· Salary: $18.00 per hour (*negotiable based on experience)
