Position Summary: As an Online Grocery Order Picker and Customer Service Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service during their online grocery shopping experience. You will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customers' online grocery orders and providing friendly and efficient service during order pickup. Additionally, during downtimes, you will assist in stocking and maintaining inventory to ensure the store remains well-stocked and organized.

Key Responsibilities: (Responsibilities may vary depending on assignment.)

• Accurately and efficiently pick and pack online grocery orders according to customer preferences and specifications.

• Provide exceptional customer service during order pickup by greeting customers, assisting with loading groceries into their vehicles, and addressing any questions or concerns.

• Double-check orders for accuracy and completeness before handing them over to customers, ensuring all items are accounted for.

• Assist in stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment during downtime periods.

• Maintain knowledge of product locations, specifications, and promotions to assist customers with inquiries and ensure efficient order picking.

• Inspect groceries for freshness, quality, and expiration dates, and communicate any issues to management.

• Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of perishable items and maintaining cleanliness in work areas.

• Be willing to perform additional tasks or assist in other areas of the store as needed to support overall store operations.

Work Environment:

• Indoors/Outdoors, all weather conditions. Entry into walk-in freezers and coolers is frequently required.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly lifting up to 50lbs. or more

• May require frequent stooping, crawling, etc.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail or grocery environment preferred, but not required.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic math skills for order verification and inventory management.

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
