Basic Function: A Meat Clerk provides excellent customer service by making the packaging look professional, rotating and filling the meat case, and maintaining good hygiene and clean work area.

• Takes care of meat counters.
• Trays up chicken.
• Trays up quick fix.
• Grinds packages ground.
• Rotates meat.
• Checks for out of date or damaged product.

• Uses care in handling products.
• Follows security procedures.
• Observes and replaces substandard products.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the manager.
• Assists on the frontend to help bag and carryout groceries to customers' vehicle.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility:

• None.

Work Environment:

The associate is required to work in cool environment handling raw fresh meat. Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. Will be using a saw, knife, grinder and slicer regularly.
