Job Description:
Discovery Charter School, located in Porter, is a K-8 school serving 500 students from Northwest Indiana. Now in our 13th year, Discovery has established itself as one of the top-performing charter schools in the State of Indiana.
As a Special Education Aide you will:
Grade-level teachers working with students in the classroom.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:
- Be creative, enthusiastic, and have a passion for helping students reach their personal best
- Develop positive and productive relationships with students, colleagues, and families
- Have experience working with students
Job Qualifications:
- Hold a minimum of a 2-year college degree or provide documentation of passing ParaPro assessment
- Pass a background check
