Columbia Laboratories is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Portland, OR
Administrative assistants provide comprehensive administrative support in a laboratory office environment. They work closely with project managers to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of client samples. Responsibilities include:
Sample data documentation: Receive, check, and log samples in our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Route samples to various departments for analysis.
Customer service: Facilitate efficient communication with clients by responding to their inquiries through email and phone. Document client feedback in our quality control system.
Administrative tasks: Organize files, enter data, and utilize Microsoft suite. Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
Key requirements:
Bachelor's degree or some college preferred.
1 year experience in an office or lab setting.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
Ability to lift 20-30 lbs and work independently.
Positive attitude
Plus points:
Background in physical sciences
2 years in customer service
Strong IT skillset
Experience with regulated industries.
Must have or be able to obtain OLCC cannabis workers permit upon hire
