White Lotus Group is a leading property development company recognized for our commitment to operational excellence, employee growth, and social impact. We are expanding and looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team.

Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable:

• Process invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding open balances and billing issues.

2. Vendor Management:

• Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely payment and resolve payment issues.
• Assist with negotiating payment terms with vendors.
• Monitor vendor performance and assist with vendor contract management.

3. Expense Management:

• Assist with maintaining the general ledger by accurately recording accounts payable transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

4. Financial Reporting:

• Assist in preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data to stakeholders and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable roles, preferably in the real estate industry.

Skills:

• Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Teams.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles, with a focus on real estate accounting practices.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
