Advantage Utilities is a full-service utility communications construction contractor based out of the New England area. We specialize in underground and aerial construction, fiber and Coax splicing, residential and commercial installs, network cabling, multi dwelling wiring and installation projects.

Currently we are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritize and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate for this position will be professional, highly motivated, and results-driven with a passion for team success.

RESPOSIBILIITIES:

· Assist, comprehend, and utilize cable system maps and as-builds (engineering documents/drawings) to show construction progress (will train)

· Maintain and monitor project plans and schedules, including permit applications

· Maintain communication with supervisors and management to ensure projects and deadlines are completed in a timely manner

· Operate office equipment such as printer, scanner, fax machines, phone, etc

· Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Penguin Software and editing software

· Communicate with clients, providing status updates about ongoing projects

· Prioritize multiple demands in a fast paced, changing work environment

REQUIREMENTS

· Must have office administrative experience

· Proficient with Microsoft Office and data management tools

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

· Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines

· Demonstrate time-management and prioritization skills

· Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal

· Possess problem-solving skills, critical thinking and interpersonal skills

· Ability to follow written and verbal directions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
