POSITION: Receptionist (Part-Time)

WORK HOURS:

Typically, the Part-Time Receptionist will work two to three days weekly, including a Saturday rotation.

Candidates must be available to work between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Receptionist is often the first representative of the company. To this end, the Receptionist is expected to take pride in ensuring that Wilson County Motors maintains customer service standards. The following includes but is not limited to the duties and working conditions of the Receptionist. Any time when it is deemed necessary by management, these duties are subject to change, or you may be requested to assist other employees in other areas:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES Realize that the employee should remember the HERO (Helpful, Exceeds expectations, Represents us well, takes Ownership) program during customer interaction. Also, the customer is the highest priority of any employee of Wilson County Motors.

• Greeting every customer in a polite and friendly manner.
• Assisting every customer in any way possible.
• Maintain a pleasant, cheerful, and professional attitude.
• Answering incoming phone calls and transferring them as accurately.
• Collecting and recording into a computer the KeyAdvantage devices.
• Assisting Sales Manager as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• High school diploma, GED, or applicable work/education combination.
• Ability to communicate (written and verbally) in English.
• Ability to arrive at work when scheduled.
• Communicate to internal and external customers professionally.
• Able to use organizational skills to perform multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of how to use a computer or laptop at work.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of proper phone etiquette.
• Prior experience answering customer calls in a business environment.
• The ability to work both daytime and evening shifts is preferred.
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply (Spanish/English)

WORKING CONDITIONS: The evening Receptionist will spend most of their shift sitting at a desk.
