A leader in critical power (UPS and generators) in the Midwest is seeking a sales engineer/proposal engineer to establish new accounts and maintain and grow current business. The ideal candidate has experience critical power to data centers, DC power plants, and mission critical facilities.
Job Type
· Office based if located in company headquarters (Madison, WI)
· Remote work, in any continental U.S. state is also a possibility

Duties and Responsibilities
· Develops new business and maintains current accounts
· Understands customer needs and delivers an effective product/solution
· Provides customers with technical expertise and product knowledge
· Manages entire full-cycle sales process from initial contact to closing
· Prepares proposals, quotes and presentations
· Develops and maintains key business relationships
· Maintains CRM software with new and prospective clients
Qualifications and Skills
· Bachelors degree preferred but not required, ideally in Electrical or Electronic engineering or Business Administration
· Technical sales experience with electrical services or products a plus
· Proven success at managing and closing deals
· Experience with mission critical and UPS brands: Vertiv, Schneider Electric, APC, Mitsubishi Electrics, Toshiba, a plus
· Experience with generators: CAT, Cummins, Kohler, MTU, Generac, John Deere, ideal
