GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The System Analyst I (Applications Track) primary role is that of a Level I Help Desk Technician,
where it is required for the System Analyst I to ensure proper computer operation so that end users
can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively
resolving Level rend user helpdesk requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of remote
diagnostic and help request tracking tools. This work will involve an understanding of problem
analysis in a management systems and telecommunications environment. Perform and or assist in
the setup and implementation of new systems. Employees in this classification are responsible for
data gathering, identifying problems and defining solutions, the documentation and presentation
of findings and specifications, verbally and in writing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

selection, testing, and implementation of all relevant application software patches, updates,
