Mercy Deliverance Ministries (MDM) is a 501c (3) non-profit based in Birmingham, AL. At MDM, we believe that God delivers people by His word, love, grace, and mercy and releases their potential, greatness, God-given identity, and destiny.

Additionally, we are committed to the physical, emotional, and spiritual health of every person we reach. Our vision is to champion the cause of the marginalized, to give a voice to the voiceless, show the mercy that God has shown us by being patient and compassionate as we walk along side of those who are suffering and afflicted until the Lord delivers them from their burdens.

Commercial Bus Driver

Spend your time delivering fresh produce to underserved areas of Alabama! Be a part of MDM’s food-service ministry as we strive to make fresh fruits and vegetables available in “food desert” communities. This commercial bus is retrofitted with retail spacing, prep space, and other amenities.

Requirement:

• Must align with the mission and vision of MDM. Must possess the attributes to effectively carry out the full mission with those we serve.
• Must be eager to serve others in our partner communities across Alabama.
• Must be reliable and well organized. Additionally, must be honest in his/her dealings
• Acts as a MDM ambassador at all times with the community and offers great customer service.
• Travel according to state regulations across the state of Alabama, and surrounding states, to various communities.
• Must be able to focus and operate the bus in various weather conditions and make scheduled appointments/deliveries.
• Will also be responsible for the bus, the bus’ warehouse, storage areas, and overall cleanliness; and accept and organize bus-related deliveries
• Will be responsible for the scheduling and oversight of the bus’ maintenance
• Must be physically able to bend, stoop, and lift up to a minimum of 50 lbs
• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening
• Must be able to work occasional weekends
• Must maintain all CDL license and paperwork requirements
• Willingness to obtain pallet jack certification
• Must perform other duties as identified, and/or assigned by management
• AL Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Air brakes
