Job DescriptionJob Description

Richard Wolf Medical Instruments Corporation is currently seeking a HR Coordinator in Vernon Hills, IL. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR Department.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all employee HR-related lifecycle activities and HR programs including onboarding and off boarding, records management, employment verifications, new user setup, etc.
  • Maintain Human Resources personnel and training records both paper and electronically for all levels of personnel.
  • Responsible for all payroll functions including overall maintenance of the payroll system including computing and/or verifying pay, withholding and deductions; reviewing federal, state, local and employer tax payments; maintaining records of employee pay and benefits.
  • Responsible for invoice reconciliation and payment. May assist in resolving discrepancies with insurance brokers or vendors.
  • Prepare and distribute all mandatory annual report and notifications.
  • Assist with the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, and completing background checks.
  • Responsible for unemployment claims by reviewing claims, substantiating documentation, and preparing protests.
  • Support the Affirmative Action Program by maintaining the Recruitment Log and exporting applicant data from the ATS per position.
  • Responsible for maintaining the credentialing & vaccine requirements of the company, including the Hepatitis B vaccine program for new hires.
  • Responsible for organizing company functions such as wellness initiatives, benefits education, employee recognition, etc.
  • Assist with preparing and distributing internal employee communications.
  • Perform administrative skills such as typing, filing, and copying.
  • Other duties as assigned by US Head of Human Resources.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
  • Aware of and comply with the RWMIC Quality Manual and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
  • Avoids legal challenges by complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Protects organization's value and employee confidence by keeping information confidential.

QUALIFICATIONS:

(ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED)

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • B.A. in Human Resources or Administration preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years related experience.
  • Ability to work well as a member of a team.
  • Able to maintain highest levels of confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all RWMIC employees and management.
  • Extremely detail-oriented self-starter, motivated and outgoing.
  • Good presentation and business writing skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced PC user, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite of products.
  • Previous experience using ADP Workforce Now Platform extremely helpful.
  • Experience with and understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment.
  • The following physical demands are required:
    • Stand/Sit/Walk 8 hours per day
