Job DescriptionRichard Wolf Medical Instruments Corporation is currently seeking a Corporate Director of Sales. The Corporate Director of Sales is responsible for developing and implementing Sales, Service & Repair, and Customer Service strategies to meet company targets for growth and profitability. Develops and implements effective customer service strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops comprehensive Sales strategies to meet the mainline quota considering market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
  • Supports direct reports in generating optimized sales for the highest market penetration, resource management, sales support, territory optimization, and generation of revenue.
  • Analyzes customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyzes market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.
  • Establishes and reports essential Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the area of responsibility, aiming to highlight crucial data and provide recommendations during discussions with the Executive Management Team.
  • Oversees calculations and initiations of special sales promotions, pricing strategies, delivery schedules, and ABC product analysis.
  • Participates directly in the negotiation process of large potential orders.
  • Conducts sales forecasting and budgeting, and sets realistic targets and goals for the sales, Repair & Service, and Customer Service teams.
  • Manages the National Accounts group to achieve growing buying group and integrated health network account management and contract compliance, thus generating market penetration and revenue for the company.
  • Creates a strategy to identify and pursue key accounts to grow government sales.
  • Provides accurate and actual data to partner organizations and platforms.
  • Works closely with the Corporate Director of Marketing in coordinating the overall marketing strategy and building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Coordinates, plans, and manages comprehensive budget for sales inventories, distribution process, logistics, etc. according to agreed aims.
  • Monitors instrument sales, customer base maintenance, sales contracts, follow-up and fulfillment, after-sales activities, etc.
  • Oversees product lifecycle management to ensure accuracy.
  • Acts as a liaison between RWMIC and business partners for US business.
  • Personnel duties include hiring, performance management, training, and career development.
  • Oversees the organization, logistics, implementation, and follow-up of sales shows, conventions, workshops, preceptorships, and meetings.
  • Evaluates training needs for personnel, sales force, and customers.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Requires national and potentially international travel of min. 50%.
  • Promotes and adheres to company policies.
  • Responsible for staying within the approved expense budget.
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the sales process.
  • Aware of and complies with the RWMIC Quality Manual and regulations & requirements as they apply to this job type/position.
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Vice President.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, or similar strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years experience in an upper-level sales management position.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Proven management track record with independent sales agents or distributors and different sales channels.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, proficiently clustering data sets, enabling insightful analysis, fostering data-driven resource planning and strategies for sustained growth.
  • Familiarity with minimally invasive surgery is ideal.
  • Physiological and anatomical knowledge as well as a solid education in OR procedures and protocols are preferred.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment as well as demonstrated decision-making abilities is a must.
  • Intermediate-Advanced PC skills in all MS Office suite products.
  • Experience with and understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment.
  • The following physical demands are required:
