Must have excellent software skills with Xactimate 28.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have completed OSHA 10 course, or complete one within 30 days after program enrollment.

Evaluate construction deficiencies and determine code compliance improvements.
Create comprehensive scopes of work using Xactimate 28 and proprietary software.
Review and approve team job quotes before customer submission.
Collaborate with the Regional Director of Estimating ensuring customer receives accurate cost estimate of damages and is required on projects over $500,000.
Complete bid package forms and follow customer scope accurately.
Inspect job sites with stakeholders to prepare scopes and estimates in Xactimate.
Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and facilitate communication between adjusters, clients, and sales.
Provide insurance expertise for settlement negotiations and help Operations with cost estimating.
Ensure proper documentation throughout the bidding process and assist with invoicing.
Knowledgeable in the Building and Construction industry, materials, methods, tools, and Multi-Family construction drawings and specifications.
Familiar with quantity material and labor take-off methods.
Use critical thinking to identify and solve construction issues.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Regional Director of Estimating.
Communicate effectively with staff, contractors, and customers.
Foster a positive attitude and maintain collaborative relationships.
Travel as assigned.
Proficient in English.
HOURSHours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday (some days may require more than 8 hours; some weeks may require additional workdays). Will vary, depending on the amount of estimate requests coming into the office, and also the amount of travel needed. May require long hours throughout the year.
