Job Description

Crew Chief - Mitigation Restoration

Our client is in need of a successful, experienced Crew Chief for their office. Immediate Hire!

This firm responds to:

• Emergency losses
• Residential, Commercial, and Multi-Family Projects
• Estimates fire, water, mold losses
• Offers upward mobility within the company
• In this Managing role, you will be
• Overseeing mitigation and restoration jobs that come in

• Monitors performance data; anticipating, preventing, and solving problems
• Provides training and direction to restoration staff
• Directs and ensures proper coordination of all restoration department administrative affairs
• Determines feasibility of work, based on insurance coverage and nature of damage.
• Inspects job site to establish the initial scope of work, confirms with insured and adjuster.
• Recruits and qualifies subcontractors.
• Fields customer questions & concerns, resolving all issues, working with appropriate staff.
• Invoices projects all varieties of projects including but not limited to fire, water, mold, and asbestos.
• Builds relationships with field adjusters and commercial business clients.

Job Qualifications

Crew Chief - Mitigation Restoration

• 2-7 years’ experience as a Crew Chief for a insurance / disaster restoration contractor
• IICRC, WRT, and ASD Certifications preferred
• Management experience of technicians
• Strong in communication & relationship skills
• Good computer skills and tech savvy
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Coaching, mentoring experience.
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Excellent group facilitation / presentation skills

Crew Chief - Mitigation Restoration

• MUST be able to pass a Background Check.
• MUST be able to pass a Drug Screen.
• MUST be able to provide a valid Driver’s License.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay

Experience:

• fire water damage restoration industry: 2 years (Required)
• overseeing techinicians for water and fire losses: 2 years (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Saint Charles, IL: Relocate before starting work (Required)
