POSITION SUMMARY

As the Material Handler, you’ll responsible for the receiving and movement of raw materials, Work-in-Process and finished product during the manufacturing process.

Located in Henderson, Nevada, near the exciting and diverse community of Las Vegas, ProCaps Laboratories is a large and rapidly growing manufacturer with approximately 350 employees that markets several hundred dietary supplement SKUs, along with an expanding line of functional foods (bars, packets, bottles, etc.)

WHAT YOU BRING (MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS)

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 1 year working in a food manufacturing environment
• Must be able to understand and perform following directions given, understand Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and maintain high quality workmanship
• Ability to effectively communicate to employees in various positions and at all levels
• Must be willing to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demands

WHAT YOU’LL DO (OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Supplies raw materials as needed for scaling, blending and mixing
• Verifies the materials/ingredients coming into the scaling, blending and mixing areas are not expired, are not on hold, are free from secondary contamination
• Supplies all packaging materials needed for packing finished product
• Verifies that all materials/ingredients match items listed on the job
• Transports and stages work-in-process as needed
• Transports finished product as needed
• Inventory management of all movement of raw materials, packaging and finished product
• Must be able to understand and perform following directions given, understand Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and maintain high quality workmanship
• Maintain accurate records
• Perform other job duties and responsibilities, as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, balance, and reach
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
• Push/Pull up to 300 lbs.
