Position Summary
As the Dispense & Blend Lead, you’ll be responsible for planning, implementing, and assigning work to personnel in Dispense & Blend. Additional duties will be to train and guide employees in proper methods to complete the jobs.

What You Bring (minimum Job Qualifications And Requirements)

• Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years of college in a technical field desired.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a lead role in a nutraceutical manufacturing environment
• Experienced in training operators in equipment and processes
• Minimum of 2 year experience in Blending operations
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively communicate in English via speaking, writing, and reading
• Must be willing to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demands

WHAT YOU’LL DO (OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Troubleshoots and problem solves any issues with quality, process or equipment
• Monitors the production process to attain daily requirements and goals
• Adheres to all company policies, safety regulations, quality programs, and standard operating procedures
• Organizes, prioritizes, and assigns work; trains and guides employees in proper methods and procedures
• Ensures product quality, methods and procedures are met
• Leads continuous improvements initiatives in the department to meet quality and Production efficiency objectives
• Meets daily production schedules and requirements
• Anticipates and troubleshoots production issues. Where feasible devise procedures to offset schedule interruptions.
• Polices use of safety devices, equipment, departmental housekeeping, and maintain constant alert for any hazardous conditions
• Provides other support to production and management, as required
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
