SUMMARY

The Production Coordinator provides scheduling and administrative support to the Production team and leadership. This role reports to the Senior Production Scheduler and will work with Production and Planning Departments to support Production and Scheduling activities. Will monitor and control production reports. Maintain accuracy of records, such as making sure jobs are closed in a timely manner and checking entries in PCLE. Support requests for temps and track temp support. Regularly participates in production meetings, responsible for taking notes and recording follow-up action items. Assists in KPI tracking project planning and management.

WHAT YOU BRING (MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS)

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience with an ERP program(s). Basic computer skills are required; a Microsoft office expert is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic purchasing, warehouse, quality, and inventory roles as they relate to direct production schedules.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
• Utilizes technical experience and judgment to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems that arise in a cGMP environment.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow documents and guidelines such as training records, cGMP, SOPs, safety rules, and production procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Performs production support functions. Ensures that data generated through manufacturing activities is maintained, reviewed, analyzed, and assessed.
• Runs report related to batch throughput analysis, product changeovers, etc., for the production department as needed.
• Work closely with the planning and production teams to support the weekly scheduling. Provides comprehensive and timely updates to production leadership.
• Schedules and conducts production department and cross-functional meetings, keeping detailed meeting minutes.
• Ensures batch records are reviewed and completed promptly by cGMP requirements and company procedures.
• Represents the production department in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Track KPIs for the Production department as assigned.
• Coordinate temp employees’ assignments with production supervision, including coordinating with HR to bring temps as needed, and coordinate the proper trainings with production supervision.
• Create and maintain a daily shift output report.
• All other production assistance and administrative duties as assigned by the production management team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Duties are performed primarily in a smoke-free office environment, working in production areas as required.

• May be exposed to occasional dust, cold, and heat
• Must be able to work in an occasionally loud environment
