Summary:
We are seeking a functional, business‑focused Product Owner with strong experience in commercial lending and hands‑on familiarity with nCino. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge business needs with operational workflows, lead discovery sessions, and guide end‑to‑end solutioning—not just someone with technical buzzwords. The ideal candidate brings practical implementation experience and a clear understanding of how lending processes function within a financial institution.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Product Owner or Functional Lead in a financial services environment, ideally supporting loan origination for Commercial Banking and/or Corporate & Investment Banking.
Hands-on experience with nCino—including functional configuration, workflow understanding, and ability to guide design decisions. (Required)
Deep functional knowledge of commercial lending processes (credit origination, underwriting, approvals, compliance workflows).
Strong experience participating in or leading implementation projects, especially in discovery, design, and solutioning phases.
Demonstrated success driving Agile product delivery, including backlog management and stakeholder alignment.
Strong business analysis, problem-solving, and process optimization capabilities.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills; able to translate business needs into clear product requirements.
Financial background with the ability to understand lending impacts, risk considerations, and business outcomes.
Familiarity with the Salesforce platform (as nCino is built on Salesforce) is a plus.
Experience with regulatory/risk frameworks applicable to commercial lending environments.
