Construction Coordinator

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Construction Coordinator to join our growing team in Kent, WA. This role is crucial to driving efficiency and cost savings by bringing key operations in-house. You will oversee project tracking and event scheduling across the Washington and Oregon markets, ensuring our builds stay on time and under budget.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of technical knowledge and scheduling expertise to effectively monitor field processes and optimize workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Tracking: Lead the tracking of restoration efforts and traffic control setups across the PNW region.
• Scheduling: Coordinate and monitor all project events; future responsibilities may include splicing scheduling.
• Cost & Time Management: Closely monitor construction milestones to eliminate "middleman" costs, reduce project delays, and drop overall build expenses.
• Market Oversight: Support operations in both Washington and Oregon markets (requires roughly 10% travel to Oregon).

Note: This position focuses on scheduling and monitoring; it does not involve applying for permits or handling physical field setups.

Qualifications & Skills

• Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of utility construction, restoration, or traffic control processes to effectively judge and manage timelines.
• Strong Scheduling Skills: Proven ability to manage timelines, coordinate vendors, and keep projects moving efficiently.
• Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, and Adobe ,  Arc GIS
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to coordinate between internal teams and field crews across multiple states.
