We are seeking a motivated and personable Inside Sales Representative to support our growing sales team. This role will focus on inside sales activities including customer outreach, lead generation, account support, and relationship management. Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Business Development
- Support Account Managers with day-to-day sales activities
- Conduct outbound cold calls and follow-up communication with prospective customers
- Generate and qualify leads through phone and email outreach
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Assist with quotes, proposals, and order coordination
- Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records
Customer Communication
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely responses and service
- Follow up on customer requests and sales opportunities
Technical & Administrative Support
- Learn and understand company products, systems, and industry terminology
- Assist with product recommendations and customer needs
- Utilize company software platforms for tracking sales activities and operational support
Qualifications
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of inside sales, customer service, account support, or related experience preferred
- Experience in technical, electronics, communications, telecom, or related industries is a plus
- Exposure to 2-way radio systems, repeaters, or communications equipment is highly preferred
Technical Skills
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred
- Familiarity with Asana or similar project/task management platforms preferred
- Experience with ERP systems such as Business Central is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
