Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Impact Staffing International (ISI) is seeking an IT Helpdesk Support Technician to join our client’s IT team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is a 3-month contract position, and you will be required to go onsite Monday-Friday 8 AM- 5 PM. In this role, you will support end-users throughout the refresh process by migrating data and files from Windows 10 to new Windows 11 devices, installing required software to ensure proper functionality, and working directly with employees to validate that new machines mirror their old systems prior to decommissioning. You will be working with Dell laptops and desktops. In this position, you will serve as the first point of contact for end-users by providing Tier 1 technical support (and Tier 2 as needed) for hardware, software, and voice systems, resolving routine issues, and ensuring clear documentation in the Help Desk application. You will maintain regular communication with users throughout the lifecycle of their requests, install and configure desktop/laptop hardware and software, create application installation packages, and manage IT asset inventory. Additional responsibilities include assisting with telecom and server hardware installation under supervision, monitoring and troubleshooting basic network and security issues, drafting procedural documentation, training users on new products, and relocating technical equipment as needed. This position requires active participation in scheduled maintenance, emergency support, and on-call rotations, while adhering to strict refinery compliance, safety standards, and PPE requirements.

Required Skills And Background
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of IT support experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to install hardware/software, migrate data, and verify system functionality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must obtain certifications within required timeframes:
- CompTIA A (within 6 months)
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) (within 12 months)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles.
- Training or certification in A , Network , MCDST, MCP, or HDI.
