CT Technologist - Night Shift

Role Overview: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging procedures utilizing ionizing radiation.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient identification, prepare patients, and ensure proper documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize safety and quality.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation exposure following legal and institutional policies.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and verify data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures.
• Perform computed tomography procedures as prescribed, ensuring safety and accuracy.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Completion of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Ability to work independently, adhere to safety protocols, and demonstrate technical proficiency.
