CT Technologist - Night Shift

Role Overview:

Performs computed tomography (CT) procedures, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging, while ensuring patient safety and adherence to regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtains correct patient identification, prepares patients, and documents clinical history with confidentiality.
• Utilizes appropriate imaging protocols, optimizes technical factors, and applies ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Prepares and administers medications via vascular access under licensed practitioner guidance.
• Evaluates image quality, verifies data transfer, and performs post-processing if needed.
• Educates and monitors students and healthcare providers; assists with interventional procedures.
• Performs CT procedures as prescribed, ensuring accurate positioning and technical quality.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Additional advanced certification required within 24 months for hires after a specified date.
• Graduate of a specialized Radiologic Technology training program.
