- Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history with confidentiality.
- Evaluate images for quality and proper positioning, and ensure data is properly stored or transferred.
- Assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures and monitor patient safety.
- Educate and monitor students and other healthcare providers.
- Administer medications through vascular access as prescribed.
- Certification by ARRT or NMTCB upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to starting.
- Experience in radiologic technology or specialty training in radiologic technology.
- Ability to perform and assist in advanced imaging procedures, with a focus on patient safety and data accuracy.
