Role Overview: The manager oversees clinical pharmacy services and medication use processes within their assigned area, ensuring safe, effective, and cost-efficient drug therapy for patients. They supervise staff, maintain high standards of clinical care, and develop new programs based on departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pharmacist duties and ensure best practice standards are upheld.
• Evaluate and improve pharmacy practices, workflow, and programs.
• Address employee and patient issues, managing performance and staffing levels.
• Recruit, hire, and develop pharmacy staff, ensuring adequate skill mix.
• Monitor medication utilization, costs, and develop protocols for cost containment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication management.
• Contribute to budget planning and operational contingency plans.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and organizational standards.
